I remember meeting these guys at a recent event at Hyderabad, and the next thing I hear, they have raised money!
IIT Hyderabad-incubated start-up Pure EV, which manufactures e-bikes and lithium batteries, on Wednesday said it has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from V.C.Nannapaneni, chairman and managing director Natco Pharma.
Pure EV is reportedly working developing high-speed and long-range scooters and motorcycles. What I saw at the event was a nice looking e-scooter, and the chaps there said they were also working on making the Li-ion battery packs.
It is also reported that the start-up has also been developing a prototype of HVDC (high-voltage, direct current) electric truck/bus lithium battery modules…
