Its a known fact that single axis and dual axis tracking technologies provide more than 15% additional generated power. However technical experts choose to operate without both single axis and dual axis tracking systems, simply to avoid any moving part in the plant. They want to avoid the risk of a breakdown ever.

Even CERC has estimated the cost of a solar power plant without taking tracking systems.

There are some newer Tracking systems which claim lower costs and higher efficiencies. Costing less than 10 % of the project cost and providing more than 25 % efficiency. These seem pretty good to go.

This is avoidable , solar power generation is a profitable project. with an investment of Rs.2 Crores one can earn upto 40 crores and more in the ensuing 25 years, so its better to go with tier 1 panels, BOS and practises.

Look for EPCs that use best brands. Best practices. With proven performances.

Not just the best price.

Gandhingar is becoming the solar city of India and Gujarat the solar capital of the world.

Atleast that appears to be the resolve of Mr Modi the CM of Gujarat.

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi  on Saturday inaugurated a 1 MW solar power plant , commissioned in a record 105 days at a cost of Rs.15 crore.

The plant will generate around 15 lakh units of power per year, enough to light 1,500 houses. It is estimated that it will  lessen carbon emission by 1,500 tonnes.

The solar power plant has been designed and constructed by global solar energy service provider SunEdison.

Managing director Pashupathy Gopalan of SunEdison, said that the ground-mount photo-voltaic (PV) power plant is the first of its kind in Gujarat.

I think in this case you can decide what is the requirement of the customer and then decide and also you can ask the customer to give the details abt land where he wants to install the solar pv Like
