Solar irradiation data - a new way to calculate !

Researchers, at Austin's university of Texas have developed a new mathod for calculating solar data. The new method is easily accessible to public,businesses and policy makers. It is a method for calculating, compiling and presenting graphically solar data in a specified format.
This solar data will help the public to comprehend the extent and enormity of solar resources in a particular area , help the consumers to select solar technology and also helps the policy makers to design solar policy.

David Wogan, Michael E.Webber, Alexander K.da Silva have authored a paper on this method in the Journal of Renewable & Sustainable energy.

Calculated approximations of solar insolation ie amount of solar radiation incident on the surface of earth is contained on this data.It include averages of yearly, monthly and daily energy. The amount of solar electricity that can be generated at any location and at any time can be calculated by this method.
