The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is the nodal Ministry of the Government of India for all matters relating to new and renewable energy. It is headquartered in New Delhi, India. The Ministry has set up under its fold a financial institution viz. Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) for renewable energy.
