EAI partners with IIT-Kharagpur

Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) is a student organization instituted at the Science & Technology Entrepreneurs Park at Indian Institute of Technology - Kharagpur. It was formed under the aegis of Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy (SRIC). The objectives of E-Cell are to provide students with all the support in terms of training, mentorship, incubation, patenting, and external funding needed for entrepreneurship.

Cleantech Challenge is a clean technology Business Plan competition conducted by the Entrepreneurship Cell at the Indian Institute of Technology- Kharagpur. The Event invites business plans in the areas of Air, Water and Waste Treatment, Energy efficiency, Green Building, Renewable Energy, Smart Power, Green grid and energy storage, Transportation.

The event is structured in three stages

  1. Submission of the Executive summary of the Business Plan
  2. Selected teams will be mentored over a period of two months
  3. Final Presentation of the Business Plan at IIT-Kharagpur

EAI – Energy Alternatives India has been invited to associate with IIT kharagpur as Executive Partners. The experts at EAI will predominantly be involved in mentoring a few of the selected business plans at the second stage. The knowledge bank at EAI, comprising financial consultants, Research Analysts, The technology team, will devote their time in shaping the plans to take a more viable and a competitive form for the final presentation at IIT- Kharagpur.

Mr Narasimhan Santhanam, Director, EAI, has been invited as a judge for the final round of the Cleantech Challenge at IIT-Kharagpur, where the teams will present their mentored plans.
