Dow Corning, a joint venture of Dow Chemical Company and Corning, specialising in silicon products, is hopeful of increasing its revenues from India by supplying silicon-related products for photovoltaic module makers and solar farms in the country.

The company with its joint venture at Hemlock Semiconductor Group has invested over $5 billion in solar over the past five years for providing silicon-based solutions.
