A formal MOU has been signed between them whereby Ultra Motor Company and Okaya Power will share their distribution networks to bring their products within easy reach of customers. This partnership is a major step towards strengthening the EV and renewable energy business. By sharing their marketing networks, Ultra and Okaya have found an innovative way to bring benefits to the customers looking to buy products from Ultra Motor and Okaya Power.
Ultra Motor Company currently sells its electric scooters through 180 outlets. Under this agreement, Okaya and Ultra Motors will retail each other’s products through 450 retail exclusive outlets.
With a turnover exceeding Rs. 1000 crore, Okaya is the leading player in battery manufacturing. Its ‘Microtek’ brand of inverter batteries is also a market leader. It is well equipped to develop batteries and electronic components for Ultra and EV Industry.
