C3 Updates
The Water Resources Department is set to take up desilting and widening of the 2-km portion of the river from Thiru Vi Ka bridge. The proposal was being prepared based on the recommendations of the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) instead of opting for structures such as groynes or training walls.
