The Greater Chennai Corporation is exploring the feasibility of introducing electric vehicle chargers in 88 public parking facilities; regulation of charges can be challenging. It is likely to start regulation of the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in parking lots and buildings to facilitate phased migration to sustainable transportation.
