Who is behind BOMB?

So who are the BOMB Makers?

While a team of six developed the BOMB over a year, the two key professionals who led the effort are: Narasimhan Santhanam and Manohar Namasivayam. Their profiles are as follows:

Narasimhan Santhanam

  • Education: B.Tech from IIT Madras (1992) and PGDM from IIM Calcutta ('94)
  • Designation: Director & Co-founder of EAI, India's leading cleantech consulting firm.
  • Worked in: Product management, sales & marketing and as an entrepreneur in the following sectors: Management consulting, Internet & Software, Travel & Hospitality.
  • In-depth market & management consulting expertise across a wide spectrum of cleantech – renewable energy (solar, wind and bio-energy), sustainable materials, sustainable mobility and sustainable environmental remediation.
  • Specialized consulting domains include solar photovoltaic, electric mobility, biofuels and bioplastics
  • Consulted for many business value chain points (from upstream manufacturing all the way to downstream retail) for many of the cleantech domains.
  • Consulted for over 100 companies – including the likes of GE, World Bank, Bosch, JSW, Reliance, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

He has handled assignments for clients in India and abroad and has been a serial entrepreneur who has launched successful businesses in India, in the fields of consumer research, advertising, product promotions and online marketing.
  • Manohar’s work on niche, emerging cleantech opportunities has made the EAI team one of the few teams in the world that has an excellent understanding of over a hundred emerging, diverse cleantech opportunities, many of which are completely unknown to even the most aspiring businesses and entrepreneurs.
