Suzlon enters Sri Lankan wind market with Kalpitiya wind turbine - India Renewable Energy Consulting – Solar, Biomass, Wind, Cleantech

Suzlon Energy has entered into Sri Lankan market with an order to supply 10 MW of wind turbine capacity to a project developed by Senok Wind Power.

The project, supplied with Suzlon`s S64-1.25 MW wind turbines, will come up in the Kalpitiya region of Sri Lanka. Project completion slated for financial year 2010.

The order marks key first for Sri Lanka`s wind energy sector.
