Minister for New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah today said that bringing down the RLS cost of solar power generation is his priority.
According to him, “Prices would automatically go down after installation rate of solar projects go up, and my ministry is making efforts in this direction.”
I’m not sure if decreasing prices of solar PV power generation is as simple as that, but well, politicians cannot be expected to be scientifically (and economically and logically and common-sensically) precise.
