The institute for integrated research and action for development (irade) is set up as a fully autonomous advanced research institute, which aims to do research and policy analysis for renewable energies headquartered in new delhi. It is in an action project of study for evaluation of solar thermal energy demonstration program during tenth plan.

The energy and resources institute

Teri was formally established in 1974 and headquartered in new delhi for r&d of solar energy for making better improvements. Teri now has staff strength of over 700 dedicated employees. The energy and resource institute (teri) initiated the research project “solar cooling for urban and remote rural applications�. This project is cooperation with the commonwealth scientific and industrial research organization (csiro).

Nimbkar agricultural research institute

Nari is an ngo and non-profit research and development institute. It was established in 1968 by mr. B.V. Nimbkar who remained its first president till 1990. Since then dr. Nandini nimbkar is the permanent president. Nari has pioneered the development of technology for cooking and lighting on low grade [55-60% (w/w)] ethanol-water mixtures.
