When you pop a hard-hitting question at him, he almost always reciprocates – mincing words doesn’t seem to be his style.
And that’s what he does in this interesting interview to CNBC. When queried on large investments made by his firm into oil & gas, he says,
“โSo, letโs keep this balanced. Itโs difficult. I know the scientists told us you should forget [fossil fuels] โ but life is like it is. Well, there is no doubt it is a practical perspective, if you happen to be a reasonable guy.
But the question: Can being reasonable take us out of the global warming spiral?
