Nagaland students install unique micro-hydro power plant for street lighting

Regions such as Nagaland are blessed with many waterways. It is inspiring to read how a group of students, with help from their college (NIT Nagaland) rigged up a small hydropower plant using one of the small rivulets and got the power to light up streets.
