Carbon capture is tough business, where even giants hesitated to enter until recently. Aniruddha Sharma & Prateek Bumb founded their startup Carbon Clean in 2009, when they were just 22.
Carbon capture is a much needed solution to quickly bring
#CO2 levels to desired targets. Even the likes of Elon Musk and Bill Gates are focussing their brains and wealth on this.

Way back in 2009, when none of the global thought leaders had put their money on it, these two guys from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, started the firm. I had interacted briefly with Aniruddha sometime in 2010 and while impressed, felt he was attempting something too difficult and doubted he would sustain, especially as he was too young.
Carbon Clean is still around, and more important, they seem to be really kicking. That’s really something.
While capturing CO2 still remains a big challenge, their hard work might just begin to pay off as the world starts getting desperate to do something about this carbon thing.
