What do 12 year old girls do during lockdown?

Showcased on EAI INCLINE – https://lnkd.in/gZK-B7y

It’s been a very long time since I was 12 years old, and I don’t think I have ever been a girl.

So I’m not entirely sure what 12 year girls do during times like the lockdown…but I can guess…Instagram…TikTok…Spotify…pranks…

But two young girls used the time to innovate useful solutions around energy.

But Mumbai-ites Antara Patel (11) and Prisha Patel (12) during this period designed a sustainable solution to cool down the heat emitted by large AC units’ condensers, and their device won the 2020 World Robot Olympiad. ( https://lnkd.in/eC24umt YourStory Media :Tenzin Norzom )

Frankly, I did not even bother to evaluate what they did from a technical or a commercial standpoint. That would have been missing the woods for the trees. All I could think was: if these two can invent something useful when they are just 11/12 years – and when their peers were chilling & bally-hooing – imagine what their minds can accomplish with guidance and support when they are 25, leave alone 40.

Bravo, girls – from EAI INCLINE
