Chitra Ravi – Chrysalis – on Climate Education – Cli5 @ Clidemy
Climate education and skilling are key components of climate action and will a critical driver in its success. Yet, climate education is currently in its nascent stages, is highly ineffective and fragmented.
Cli5 from CliDemy – the Climate Academy is an effort to get valuable inputs from a wide range of stakeholders about their perceptions about climate education and their suggestions for improving it.
The Cli5 project comprises collecting answers for a maximum of 5 questions around climate education – hence the title Cli5.
Chrysalis, headquartered in Chennai, is a pioneer in children’s education using technology in an innovative and enriching way. (Website: https://lnkd.in/g8HJ6CzJ )
Chitra has been working on improving children’s education as long as I can remember, and my earliest memory goes back to 2000 when she had the bad luck to bump into me at a mutual client’s office when both were waiting at the lobby for the rain to stop – but I never stopped bothering her after that!
Here are Chitra’s brief but insightful answers to the Cli5 questions – https://lnkd.in/gpm6z28q
