Climate tech is perhaps the most critical domain worldwide for innovations and startups.
While the rest of the startup ecosystem runs after topline, bottom line (which is non-existent now and forever for many), and becoming a unicorn overnight (and not worth a bag of popcorn over another night), climate tech startups are more focussed on impact, value, sustainability, leaving a positive trail behind them and a healthy future ahead.
Sure, climate tech startups are not run by saints (thankfully!), and nor are the startups completely free from some of the mercenary motives that plague startups in other domains, but there definitely is a big difference between these startups and the rest.
