Launching our climate education initiative

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐲 – 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲

Education for effective climate action is a critical, but quite underappreciated, tool in our journey to a low carbon and climate stable world.

My work in the climate tech & sustainability domains for over 15 years made me realize that tech and low carbon solutions alone cannot take us to a stable world – these are necessary but not sufficient.

Getting there could require a pretty massive overhaul of the way we think about, and do, many things.

Here's more about EAI

Deep dive into our work

The above suggest that effective, comprehensive climate education could need an effort that is as intricate as it is powerful, as much an art as it is science. I doubt anyone in the world is sure about all the components of such education.

But I got one hint while rearranging the letters.

𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 = 𝘋𝘶𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

If geared towards action, effective climate education can make a massive difference.

At CliDemy, we have decided to swing it really hard – we 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐛𝐲 2030.

If that sounds insane to you, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘦. But we feel it is an insanity worth pursuing.

We are 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘢 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 with some simple concepts. These will hopefully lead to powerful value as we move along.
