To fly or not to fly
One Delhi-NYC-Delhi flight trip emits so much CO2 emissions PER PASSENGER that it is equivalent to the emissions from running a 1 ton AC daily for 8 hours for 1 full year.
Mind you, this is PER PASSENGER. Allow that to sink in, I can wait.
So should we buy carbon offsets and fly or should we just not fly where not necessary?
Or should the aviation sector “be merged” with the video conferencing sector to kind of leverage and balance things out through a combined strategy?
