The steel industry will one of the first sectors that will adopt green hydrogen on scale. While the challenging economics of green hydrogen will be a bottleneck for this sector as well, the business imperatives for this sector to go green are much stronger than they are for other sector, especially with regulations such as EU’s CBAM (cross border adjustment mechanism) coming into force soon.
