The Chennai Climate Consortium, known simply as C3, is a pioneering effort by EAI and its business partners to dramatically accelerate decarbonization for Chennai-based industries & commercial units through a Think Local approach.
C3 is possibly the first industry-led city-focused climate action platform in the world.
C3 is at the core a multi-stakeholder collaboration platform that facilitates all the key drivers for faster decarbonization – low carbon solution awareness & intelligence, effective interactions between key stakeholders, and faster commercialization of climate innovations.
C3 does these through a mix of research, workshops, awareness programs, and multi-stakeholder engagement facilitation.
C3 is run by a core team comprising stakeholders from key components of the climate action ecosystems – startups, investors, end users, policymakers, consultants, academic researchers, and also media.
