Free Workshop for Children @ Chennai, Sep 8, 11 AM – 1 PM, Nungambakkam

Let your children learn how to make cool things from waste!

Suseum, the sustainability museum, will be organizing a 2 hour workshop where children will be taught how to create interesting and cool stuff from waste materials such as newspapers, plastic bags, wooden waste etc.

Children who are aged 8 and above. We recommend that parents accompany them of course!

Date: Sep 8 (Sun), 11 AM-1 PM
Venue: Suseum, A5C, Anugraha, 41, Nungambakkam High Road (next to Taj Hotel and Opposite Kothari Buildings)

 

What will your child learn?

Learn how to make use of common household waste items and turn them into creative and attractive products.

How many children can participate in this workshop?

The first workshop will be limited to 10 children, on a first come first served basis.

Who are the organizers?

What do the children need to bring?

While we will be providing some materials here, we request participants to bring

  • Newspapers – one full day newspaper
  • Glue
  • A pair of scissors
  • Sketch Pens and Crayons
  • A few plastic bags – these could be pouches, milk bags, polythene bags etc. 10 to 15 pieces

How much does it cost?

Nothing. This is free. Yep, we are all nice folks.
