Lourde Epinal is the Environmental Education Coordinator at the Pitchandikulum Bio Resource Centre (PBRC) in Tamil Nadu. Lourde’s ideas and environmental expertise have made a real difference to the local community of Nadukuppam where he works. He has implemented “eco-clubs” that involve children in caring for and learning about their local environment, as well as solar energy solutions, healthy food gardens and child-centred teacher training for the local school and programs for local women.
