14 year old Indian teen puts solar on iron boxes

14 year old VINISHA UMASHANKAR (just how do you get those fandangles made on LinkedIn, btw?) from Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu appears to care a lot more about global warming than even really old men like me do.
That made this young innovator to reduce emissions from at least one source – mobile clothes ironing vendors.
Her innovation has made it possible for these vendors to have their ironing done through solar powered iron boxes. Panels on the cart’s roof produce solar power that can be used along the way or stored in batteries for later use.
Our specialty focus areas include 
When fully charged – which takes 4-5 hours in bright sunshine – each battery can power the iron for 6 hours.
She has won the Children’s Climate Prize, apart from other awards, for her innovation.
Old eggheads might dismiss this as a fairly simple innovation, but those blokes were doing idle chatter while the irons blew CO2 into the atmosphere everyday,.
