Cloud-connecting the waste management ecosystem – Recykal

@Showcased at EAI INCLINE – https://lnkd.in/gZK-B7y

Waste to wealth is an over-promised, and under-delivering statement – ask anyone in the segment. The distributed nature of generation, segregation and value recovery challenges make W2W little more than a slogan.

Using digital and smart solutions to streamline chaos could help. Perhaps not enough to overcome all challenges, but it’s still a great start.

Using its cloud-based digital platform, Recykal.com connects and enables transactions between waste generators, waste aggregators, recyclers, co-processors. A smart centre is used to digitise day-to-day operations and give complete visibility of material flow. The platform also helps consumers get incentives.

Indicating the potential of its platform, it announced a pan-India partnership with UNDP and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages for a joint initiative for developing sustainable

wastemanagement practices in

India.

My work in

cleantech has shown how applying

digital solutions to derive efficiencies is one of the lowest hanging fruits for sustainability.

Glad to see Recykal’s work and all the best!
