IICT seeking industry participation for castor oil chemicals commercialization

Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, part of Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has developed the production technologies for many valuable castor oil based chemicals.


Top management consulting experts for Bio-energy, EV, Solar, Green Hydrogen

India is a global leader in castor oil production, but does not lead when it comes to production of high value

greenchemicals from this versatile oil. Many of these high value chemicals have good and growing markets worldwide.

While on an online discussion yesterday that included castor industry leaders as well as over 50 key stakeholders. Dr Prabhavati from IICT was keen that entrepreneurs and industries keen on developing these attractive chemicals from castor utilize the R&D done by IICT.
