ITM Shaastra 2021 Tech & Innovation Fair

Was a judge at this year’s tech & innovation contest of IIT Madras’ Shaastra (its annual college tech fair). Shows that you can fool even IIT-ians about your intelligence – and three years in a row, for which I had been a judge for this contest 🙂

This was the first time the contest was held virtual, and the first virtual contest I have been a part of. Kudos to IIT team for making it a smooth affair.

Congrats to all the 8 finalists – remarkable talent and excellent efforts, especially during pandemic times. Made me once again feel – three years in a row – how completely useless I was during my

IITM days.

Honestly, it was challenging to decide which teams were the better of the lot. It is tough to decide in such a short time between teams when most of them had undertaken detailed efforts. I doubt I did justice to those that did not make it to top 3 – but life’s like that, people.

As these LinkedIn chaps are not allowing me to type many more words over here, I’m providing details of the top 3 teams in the comments section.

Thank you Team Shaastra, IIT Madras and the very best to all participants.
