I would have just looked at those streetlights and never wondered why…

But Monika Jha did. And the result is some smart savings on

This young lady, a graduate from

Bengaluru, observed that

streetlights could be designed with a larger dispersion angle, so that the same

LEDs can provide lighting to a larger area. This simple insight, coupled with some good background research, testing and modelling, has resulted in Cydee Technologies.

Reminds me of Sherlock Holmes’ advice to Watson – you see, but do not observe.
