Narasimhan Santhanam (Narsi)

Co-founder & Director

Narasimhan is a renewable energy and clean technology professional with almost a decade’s exposure to a wide spectrum of renewable energy domains, with special exposure being to solar and biomass energy. He is the Co-Founder and Director of EAI since 2007. He brings together a unique intersection of top management perspectives, India market knowledge and extensive expert contacts.

Prior to this, he was in various roles, in sales & marketing, in product management, and as an entrepreneur in a variety of Industries such as Market Research, Software & Internet, and Travel &Hospitality.

Narasimhan has extensive experience in understanding renewable energy markets and strategic levers for success in these markets. His special focus has been his work on the Indian renewable energy industry. His work in the past two decades in India and the UK has spanned market and strategic consulting, industry research, product management and international sales.

His work for the Indian renewable energy industry has focused on providing business intelligence, strategic consulting and opportunity analysis to entrepreneurs, top management and businesses expanding into renewable energy. Specifically, Narasimhan has worked on critical assignments that span the entire solar PV value chain – from polysilicon to power plants – thus bringing forth comprehensive expertise and knowledge few, if any, experts in the country can boast about.

Narsi has a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) & an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C).

Manohar Namasivayam

Co-founder & Advisor

Manohar Namasivayam started EAI along with Narsi and has been helping EAI as its strategic advisor since its inception.

Manohar has over thirty years’ experience in a variety of fields related to consumer research, advertising and sales. He has handled assignments for clients in India and abroad and has been a serial entrepreneur who has launched successful businesses in India, in the fields of consumer research, advertising, product promotions and online marketing.

Manohar’s work on niche, emerging cleantech opportunities has made the EAI team one of the few teams in the world that has an excellent understanding of over a hundred emerging, diverse cleantech opportunities, many of which are completely unknown to even the most aspiring businesses and entrepreneurs.

Manohar has a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious College of Engineering, Guindy and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC).

Divya Prabha

Consulting & Product Management

Divya plays consulting and product management roles at Solar Mango.

Divya has worked on a number of solar sector assignments in the past year she has been at Solar Mango. Her key areas of work are in the research of operational and business models in both MW scale and rooftop solar power plants.

Divya also has detailed exposure to working of grid-connected MW scale solar power plants.

Divya holds a Master of Technology in power and Energy from Amrita School of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology,Kerala.

Nikhil Vinay

Research & Consulting

Nikhil plays consulting and research analyst roles at Solar Mango.

Nikhil has worked on a number of solar PV industry research studies in the past one year he has been with Solar Mango. His key areas of work are in understanding new and emerging technology and business trends in the solar PV sector.

Nikhil also assists Solar Mango in the publication of its main research reports on MW Solar & Rooftop Solar.

Nikhil has an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from the Cranfield University, UK and a B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering at Manipal University, India.

Vijay Wilfred

Research & Consulting

Vijay plays consulting and research analyst roles at Solar Mango.
Vijay works in both biomass and solar energy sectors, and works in the intersection of engineering and business. Most of his work involves field-based research, with extensive interactions with key stakeholders on the ground – be these for solar power plants or for biomass energy.

He has worked on detailed assignments for prestigious clients such as Glaxo (GSK) while at Solar Mango.
Vijay holds an ME in Energy Engineering from Anna University and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry Univ.

Gayathri Kumar

Research & Consulting

Gayathri has been with EAI for two years and her work at EAI revolves around writing Business Intelligence Reports and Newsletters.
She also maintains large portions of EAI website including EAI Daily and EAI 360. She is also a part of the Biofuels team at EAI.

Gayathri also handles some of the marketing activities at EAI and has been the marketing support co-ordinator for the various renewable energy events organised and co-ordinated by EAI.

Gayathri has done her M. Sc in Biotechnology from University of Madras.

Ramya Gopinath

Marketing & Consulting

Ramya takes care of the Marketing & Business Development activities at EAI.
She is responsible for the entire sales cycle – taking the leads to closing the deals. She also guides her team on all other marketing and communication pursuits in the company. This also involves maintenance of online assets. She, along with her team is also involved in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the company. She is also a part of the consulting team with a strong focus on go-to-market strategies.

Prior to EAI, Ramya has worked in similar profiles in other fields such as engineering and process consulting for about four years.
Ramya has an MBA in Marketing and Communications from Chennai Business School and a B.Tech in Telecommunication Engg from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).

Ravindran G

Marketing & Consulting

Ravindran is part of EAI’s Marketing team. Ravindran’s work at EAI revolves around handling the marketing activities such as market research, data collections, and analytics; has been the marketing support co-ordinator for the various renewable energy events organised and co-ordinated by EAI. He also assists the consulting team in implementing go-to-market plans for the clients.

Ravindran also maintains a part of the Solar Mango website portal and handles the social media arm of the company.
Ravindran has done his B. Tech in Aerospace Engineering from SRM University.

Muthukrishnan Nagasubramanian

Accounting & Administration

Muthukrishnan has over 20 years of experience in the Finance field and handles Accounting and Administration at EAI.

He holds a B.Com from Madurai Kamaraj University.

Sr Web Developer

Anjali is part of EAI’s technical team. She is involved in the design and development of websites and web applications. She also handles all programming aspects of building, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting the EAI website.

Anjali has done her MCA from Rajasthan Technical University.

Web Developer

System Admin

Kannan has been with EAI for the past 5 years and works as a system admin. His major works include electrical, electronics and other hardware maintenance.

He also handles gardening, event designing and other services.
