Two U.S.-based companies will manufacture and sell biomass-to-energy plants in India. California-based Alpha Renewable Energy has partnered with Nevada-based W2 Energy.

W2 Energy has licensed its synthetic diesel and electricity from biomass technologies to Alpha Renewable Energy. The W2 Energy technology includes a plasma reactor, a gas-to-liquids reactor and a small electrical generating system.

According to a news release, the licensing agreement includes the use, manufacture, marketing and promotion of W2 Energy technology by Alpha Renewable Energy in India.

So that’s, cutting out the marketing and trade jargon, thermochemical method for you, or biomass to liquid. Which I think is an area that holds tremendous potential…way to go!
