ABB has 2 GW of solar inverters installed in India, says this report.
That sure is a bit surprising
I knew ABB was doing well, but not THIS well.
Given that we have just above 4 GW of solar PV installations in the country, that means 50% of installations are ABB inverters.
Sure, their PowerOne acquisition would have provided a big boost to their numbers, but 50% is still pretty awesome.
I would have thought of SMA, Bonfiglioli and Delta in the top 3. But this is a surprise.
