India Waste Management Startups, Investors & Innovations @ CLIMAFIX Summit 2022
India generates considerable amounts of solid and liquid waste - across residential, industrial and agricultural sectors.
Sustainable waste management and value recovery from waste result in a more efficient economy benefitting stakeholders all along the value chain, and can lead to significant decarbonization benefits. Sustainable waste management includes multiple pathways such as recycling, repurposing and waste to energy, and all these pathways are witnessing significant innovations across the world.
Waste management being a complex yet fascinating domain has, not surprisingly, attracted a number of innovative Indian startups offering solutions for specific verticals and products - all the way from biofuels to enzymes.
The Waste Management sector within the CLIMAFIX Summit 2022 will have over 25 startups sharing their insights and providing brief presentations of their value propositions, in two sessions - a Panel Discssion and a Snapshot session.
In addition, we expect 75-100 relevant delegates to include early stage waste management startups or entrepreneurs with the potential to start waste management startups in future.
The CLIMAFIX Summit is India’s only conference plus discussion forum that focuses exclusively on climate tech startups, with one of the key focus sectors being Sustainable Waste Management.
Waste management is a diverse and complex ecosystem, comprising solid and liquid solid waste management, and has multiples sub-themes under each of these. The Waste Management session at CLIMAFIX Summit 2022 will have a strong focus on solid waste management and the sessions will incorporate insights and interactions on managing all prominent types of solid waste, as well as all the important avenues for sustainable management of such waste.
