Introduction

ACME has launched Lithium-ion Based Energy Storage Systems, known as EcoGrid ESS for stationary applications. The company is currently conducting trials for the same for electric vehicles.

The company is also involved in the development of green technology solutions that are environment friendly, energy efficient & cost effective and also capable of delivering a quick return on investment. 

In order to provide new technology solutions through intensive research and development in the cleantech sector, ACME Cleantech Solutions was established in 2003.

As of 2019, ACME products are installed over 1,50,000 telecom sites across the globe. ACME has enabled telecom expansion to farthest as well as most interior and hitherto unconnected regions of India while reducing carbon emissions from the telecom site as well.

Product Profile

ACME has an integrated manufacturing facility for Lithium Batteries in India, spread over 11 hectares, which is the largest of its kind in Asia and incorporates state-of-the-art equipment and a high level of automation.

The company also manufactures EV and Stationary battery chargers and swapping stations where  batteries are charged collectively(ESS Rack).

Future Plans

  • In 2017, ACME Group launched India’s first battery swapping and charging station for electric vehicles. The EcoCharge Battery Swapping & Charging Station comes with the lowest operating cost, fast charging, swapping time less than that required for filling fuel, longer life, utilizing the Build, Own & Operate model, and ICAT/ARAI approved lithium batteries with an option for battery to grid (B-to-G)
  • ACME has provided these to Ola for their pilot project at Nagpur city in which 200 vehicles including bus, auto and car – all running on electricity was launched in the first stage on May 26, 2017. It was flagged off by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport, Shipping and Roadways.
