Introduction

JBM Auto Limited is the Bus division of JBM Group. The division specializes in the manufacturing of high quality buses in India. These buses are built with leading cutting edge technology. 

JBM Auto Ltd. has entered the electric bus sector with its state of the art product called CITYLIFE. The product lineup of JBM Auto offers a cutting edge in its vehicles for the market. The brand has an in-house engineering and design centre, which has capability from Design to Deliver. 

Company Profile

Established in 1983, JBM Group offers products, services and innovative solutions in a diversified portfolio like automotive, engineering & design and renewable sectors. The group’s infrastructural strength comprises over 35 manufacturing plants and 4 engineering and design centers across 18 locations worldwide.

Product Profile

The company offers an electric bus – Ecolife, in two variants.

The company recently launched two electric buses at Auto Expo 2020.

It had also displayed it vehicles made in partnership with Solaris at the Auto Expo 2018

Additionally, the company is also developing public charging infrastructure for all EVs

Future Plans

  • As of October 2019, 300 buses were ordered by airline companies such as Spicejet and Indigo as well as from State transport undertakings of Delhi Integrated Multi- Modal Transport System (DIMTS) and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC).

Partnerships

  • In Jul 2016, the company partnered with Poland’s Solaris to manufacture electric buses in India.
