The 2nd Renewable Energy Chennai 2010 Conference was held on 25 August 2010 at The Park Hotel, Chennai. The major theme of the conference was
“Defining India’s path to leadership in wind energy”.

Mr. Narsi Santhanam, Director, Energy Alternatives India, released a white paper titled “An analysis of Opportunities in the Wind Power Value Chain”. This white paper was prepared by Energy Alternatives India(EAI).
Mr. Narsi Santhanam also chaired the session
“Challenges, solutions and opportunities in wind sector”
The event was organized by Comnet conferences and supported by Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency(TEDA), Centre for Wind Energy Technology(C-WET) and IWTMA. Ernst & Young (E&Y) was the Knowledge Partner and Energy Alternatives India (EAI) was the Research Partner for the event.
